City looks to decrease energy costs
City Council recently selected Leopardo Companies, Incorporated to prepare an energy conservation report for the city. The measure was unanimously adopted at the November 20 City Council meeting. Ultimately, the city is looking to reduce operating costs through energy conservation improvement projects. “We’re always looking to reduce our energy costs,” said Mayor Bob Stefanik. Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church serves more than 1700 Thanksgiving Day Care and Share dinners
It started back in 1989 when volunteers at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church at the corner of Royalton and Abbey Roads began the Care and Share Community Dinner. On that Thanksgiving Day nearly 30 years ago, volunteers served 100 dinners. Police officer investigated after charges challenged
A veteran police officer in the North Royalton Police Department is being investigated after a judge’s ruling challenged his charges of an OVI. A man was pulled over in April for a tinted window violation and a non-operating license plate light. The man was ultimately charged for those two misdemeanors, as well as OVI, Failure to Comply with Order or Signal of Police Officer and Resisting Arrest.
