North Royalton School Board approves new contracts with Non-Teaching Employees

The North Royalton Board of Education recently approved a new contract and compensation plans for non-teaching employees of the North Royalton School District. At the August 13 Board of Education meeting, the Board adopted the negotiated agreement with the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE) and the compensation plans for the Central Office Professional Staff Association (COPSA), the North Royalton Principals’ Association, and the Central Office Administrators for the period of August 1, 2018, through July 31, 2021. Band’s parent preview night got everyone feelin’ alright

Bicentennial Gala Ball celebrates 200 years of history, civic pride

The Grand Ballroom at Carrie Cerino’s Ristorante & Party Center provided the backdrop Aug. 4 for the biggest local party in 200 years as North Royalton celebrated its bicentennial with a formal gala ball. Old-Timers celebrate North Royalton’s 200th Birthday

Nostalgia was the theme of the 2018 Olde-Timers Banquet held at the Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 18. The luncheon saluted those who are70 years old and have lived in North Royalton at least 30 years during the city’s 200 years of existence. More than 200 ‘olde-timers’ attended the luncheon. Civic groups hope results of survey will spur more interest

Results from a recent community survey regarding the various civic groups and organizations are in. Residents were asked to participate in the civic engagement survey in order to gain an understanding revolved around the city’s civic groups. The online survey is the brainchild of North Royalton City Council President Larry Antoskiewicz and Ward 3 City Councilman Dan Langshaw.
