Valley Vista School acquires a new fitness trail

In an effort to impact the fostering of a healthier lifestyle for the students and parents of Valley Vista Elementary School, a new fitness trail was recently completed. A presentation of the project was given at the November 7 School Board meeting, which was introduced by Valley Vista Principal, Jeff Hill, and presented by Physical Education teacher, Nathan Costello. Accolades for staff of “Cool” Schools

Kudos have been give to a number of people associated with the North Royalton City Schools lately. In addition, the North Royalton High School has recently received the distinction of being FOX 8’s Cool School. North Royalton High School won the Cool School honor over two other schools, after people starting sharing the school’s nomination on social media. Royal Redeemer continues to serve Care & Share Dinner on Thanksgiving Day

For the past 25 years, Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church has provided Thanksgiving meals to shut-ins and to those who live in or near North Royalton, offering a chance to enjoy food and fellowship on the holiday. This year is no exception. The Care and Share Thanksgiving Dinner at Royal Redeemer served 100 meals in their first year in 1989. This year, Lisa Martin and her staff of volunteers are planning to serve 1,600 meals on Thanksgiving Day. Suspect shot after officer is stabbed

A North Royalton Police officer was stabbed and the perpetrator shot after police tried to issue a probate order on Friday, October 28.
