City eyes Storefront Renovation Rebate Program

Mayor Larry Antoskiewicz and Council President Paul Marnecheck recently introduced legislation that would enable the city to start a storefront renovation rebate program for local businesses. The program has been designed by Community Development Coordinator Tom Jordan. According to Antoskiewicz, his office will be responsible for the implementation and administration of the program. Awareness and technology can help to apprehend vandals

Since September 11, residents in the Nottingham and Timber Ridge Estates, as well as Lytle Road have been the victims to various forms of vandalism. Several homes were egged, some mail boxes were removed and strewn about and a political yard sign was deconstructed and left on the lawn. Most of the incidents were reported on September 11, around midnight, September 17 and the evening of September 25. Residents on Lytle Road, Harrow Place, Greyfriars and Fawnhaven called in the reports. St. Albert the Great Parish has marked the feast of St. Francis of Assisi on the first Sunday in October with a blessing of our pets since 2014. The September meeting of the North Royalton Board of Education took place on September 13. One resident addressed the Board regarding questions on the COVID mask mandates. The Board approved the 2021-22 appropriation adjustments. St. Albert the Great’s Purple Star designation is renewed

The Ohio Department of Education announced that St. Albert the Great School is among the schools to have its Purple Star designation renewed for 2021-2024. The Purple Star Award indicates the school is military friendly and shows a major commitment to students and families that are connected to the United States military.
