Busch Funeral and Crematory Services, owned by James H. (Jim) and J. Mark Busch, are pleased to announce the purchase of Babitt Funeral Home by the Busch family effective January 21, 2016.
“Of the choices I had, Jim and Mark were the best for the succession of my business,” Bill Babitt, owner of Babitt Funeral Home said. “They have been close colleagues over the years and are very familiar with the North Royalton community. I wanted to make sure the community would be well served, and I have firsthand knowledge of the way the Busches run their business. They are very caring and also detail oriented. I know the residents of North Royalton will be well served.”
Babitt Funeral Home has served the community of North Royalton for the last 37 years by Babitt, who was the sole proprietor and owner. He purchased the business in 1978 from the Cochran family. Bill and his wife Cindy are the parents of three daughters, Angela Newton, Lindsay Babitt and Alyssa Babitt.
“Working with Bill and knowing him for quite some time, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to carry on his legacy,” Jim Busch said. “We plan to upgrade several interior and exterior elements of the facilities to meet the growing needs of the North Royalton community.”
With this acquisition, North Royalton families will gain immediate access to the on-site crematory at Busch’s nearest location in Parma. This benefit means that customers who choose cremation can rest assured that their loved one will never leave Busch’s care.
“Bill wanted to make sure families in North Royalton would have access to all options for today’s families,” Jim continued. “No price increase on services is planned and we look forward to working with Bill on the transition.”
