Saturday is Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
This event allows residents to prevent unused and expired meds from ending up in the wrong hands and keep our environment clean by properly disposing of both prescription and over-the-counter medications.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Oct. 23, with two convenient drop-off locations: Giant Eagle and the Timber Ridge Plaza.
For those who can’t make it or to properly dispose of your meds throughout the year, please remember that there is a convenient drop box located in the lobby of our Police Department at 14000 Bennett Road.
