The North Royalton Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will host a Mardi Gras Fund-raiser at The 3 Spot, 13855 Ridge Road in North Royalton, on February 23, 2020 from 4 to 8 p.m.
CERT is an organization of more than 100 resident volunteers who are trained to augment the city’s safety forces during any disaster which could strike or impact the city. The threat of terrorism was the initial force behind this Federal initiated program, but CERT may be deployed during other emergencies or disasters, natural or man-made.
CERT is asking residents to consider sponsoring this Mardi Gras event. Sponsors will be recognized during the event and in the Royalton Recorder. The following sponsorships are available:
• Gold Bead Sponsor – $750 w/ tickets for four.
• Green Bead Sponsor – $500 w/ tickets for three.
• Purple Bead Sponsor – $350 w/ tickets for two.
• Kings Cake Sponsor – $250 w/ ticket for one.
The Mardi Gras fund-raiser proceeds will be used to purchase needed equipment, uniforms and supplies for use in the event of an emergency affecting our community and its residents.
Tickets cost $25 which will include pizza, wings, salad and drink tickets. Also included is a 50/50 raffle, Chinese Auction and other fun activities.
