The 15th Annual Pet Carnival returns to the North Royalton City Green on Sunday, July 24, from 1– 4 p.m. This extremely popular event is a celebration for community, families, and pets. The event is anticipated every year with hundreds of pets with their people attending, some coming from as far away as Akron and Canton to enjoy the day with their four- legged family members. After being postponed for two years the 15th annual Pet Carnival returns, sponsored by North Royalton Animal Hospital, an award-winning American Animal Hospital Association member.
Once again W.A.G.S. 4 Kids will be present. This organization is dedicated to training and placing skilled mobility service animals for children with special needs. – https://www.wags4kids.org Molly’s Mission will also be represented. Named after Molly, a Shar Pei Mastiff mix who died in 2009, this organization helps to raise funds to provide veterinary care for pets whose people have financial limitations. This year Brady’s K9 Fund will be represented. Their mission is to donate practical, mission ready ballistic vests to police and military working dogs. They want the K-9s who protect our communities across the United States to be protected just like their human partners. Their goal is to donate ballistic vests to as many police K-9’s as possible. They have partnered with LOF Defense to donate their Street Fighter vest. https://givevia.com/charities/bradys-k9-fund. North Royalton’s own K9 Officer, Bear, will be at the carnival. Officer Bear will be there with his human partner Officer McClintic. The A.P.L. Mobile Adoption Unit will have pets looking for a forever home so if a pet doesn’t come with a human it could leave with one.
There will be things of interest for humans of all ages too; a bounce house, D.J., temporary airbrushed tattoos, balloon benders, and vendors for everything pets need. Humans always have lots of questions about their pet’s health and wellness. Dr. Adam Hechko, owner of the North Royalton Animal Hospital, and veterinary team of Dr. Ashley Staycheff, Dr. Annie Garrett, Dr. Roxanne Constanzo, Dr. Rachael Shivak, Dr. Makenzi Travis and staff members will be on hand to meet and greet all four-legged friends and their humans. There will be pet treats, dog games, and an agility course, and so much more. For more information about the 15th annual Pet Carnival go to https://northroyaltonanimalhospital.com. Don’t forget, gather on the City Green for the 15th Annual Pet Carnival; Sunday, July 24, from 1 – 4 p.m. All friendly four-legged pets on a leash are welcome. It’s a tail wagging good time.
