Bold Interpretation of Ancient Classic Comes to the Outcalt Theatre March 2020 Cleveland Play House (CPH) Artistic Director Laura Kepley has announced the casting of Cleveland native Mariah Burks in the title role of the timeless Greek tragedy Antigone. Staged in the intimate Outcalt Theatre March 28 through April 19, 2020, this contemporary translation is freely adapted by playwright Emily Mann from the classic play by Sophocles. Huntington Bank at North Royalton Giant Eagle is robbed
At about 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, North Royalton Police were called to the Huntington Bank, located inside the North Royalton Giant Eagle, where a robbery was reported. According to North Royalton Police Detective, David Loeding, the suspect displayed a note to the teller, which read “give me all the money. If you do anything, I’ll shoot you.” The teller then handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber then reportedly said “don’t call anyone, don’t do anything. The North Royalton Boys Basketball team had set Goal Number One when their off-season workouts took place during the summer months. The Goal: To win the Suburban League National Conference Championship. On February 14, the team was able to say “Mission Accomplished!” In front of a packed house at the Herman L. Joy Gymnasium, the Bears defeated Brecksville-Broadview Heights 58-45 to wrap up the title.
