Scores of leashed canines and their loving owners are invited once again to trot the grounds visiting with vendors, enjoying refreshments, and participating in pet-friendly activities as part of the 14th annual Pet Carnival, sponsored by the North Royalton Animal Hospital and Paws At Play Resort and Daycare. Summer storm and torrential rains cause flooding

The heavens really opened up and rain came down in torrents the afternoon of Friday, July 5. The mircroburst came down so fast that it resulted in pockets of flooding throughout North Royalton, Parma, Parma Heights and Brooklyn. “The National Weather Service, meanwhile, found spikes in the rainfall rates of about 5.5 inches per hour in parts of southern Parma and northern North Royalton,” according to city officials. Stuff the Bus event kicks off community school supply drive

teen Robert Pafford is organizing a “Stuff the Bus” event in support of the inaugural “Supplying Success” community school supply drive that kicked off July 12 and continues through Aug. 2.
