Elementary school program fosters friendships and community advocates

“Understanding” and “Acceptance” are two mindsets that can have a hard time finding their place in the hallways of a bustling public elementary school. But at Royal View Elementary, a “Spirit of Inclusion,” as Building Principal Kirk Pavelich puts it, is simply the cultural norm. Parishioners flock to help others as part of St. Albert Annual Service Day

Thousands of Saint Albert the Great parishioners put their faith into action for the annual Parish Service Day weekend celebrated this year on Oct. 11 and 12. The annual event, which netted more than 2,200 participants, invited members of the parish and larger church community to pick and perform a designated service project from a list that included tasks such as serving meals at Cleveland-area hunger centers, cleaning up local parks, beautifying area non-profits, delivering meals to homebound residents, crafting fleece blankets for children checking into homeless shelters and assembling ear ....

City Green to Get Historical Marker

The North Royalton City Green will be marked soon for history. The North Royalton Historical Society has recently received word that they will receive a grant for up to $3,040 to place the historical marker on the Green.
