Sunny skies with temperatures in the 80s, just what the organizers of the Harvest Fest were hoping for and got on Sunday, September 22. This was the 17th year that the Harvest Fest celebrated the end of the summer growing season and the onset of autumn. “Nobody can be this lucky with the weather two years in a row. Due to construction at North Royalton High School, the number of available parking spaces at the High School is limited, very limited. “We have about 150 parking spaces in the lot between the Middle School and the High School. Saint Albert receives state nod for STEM education
Saint Albert the Great School is one of 54 schools in Ohio to earn state recognition for STEM education. The Governor’s Thomas Edison Awards for Excellence in STEM Education and Student Research, as chosen by The Ohio Academy of Science, recognizes schools and teachers that provide ample opportunities for hands-on learning and educational opportunities that extend beyond typical classroom activities. St. Matthew congregation back home after fire
Although the church has not been built yet, members of the St. Matthew Orthodox Church are happy to be back home. The congregation has moved back to its North Royalton home after a fire took place at their Albion Road location in November, 2017. The first Sunday Liturgy took place on August 4, “back at 10383 Albion Road in the newly finished hall. It will be good to be home,” as posted on their Facebook page. “Half of the building is done.
