City 2025 Road projects begin with bridge re-decking
As with every spring, the City turns its sight to maintenance of the road infrastructure. This year is no different with the 2025 Road Maintenance Program. Every year, the City develops a plan of the roads that are in the most need and sets a budget to complete those projects. Motorists might want to take note, as a change in travel plans may be in order. School Board News
The March meeting of the North Royalton Board of Education took place on Thursday, March 6. A North Royalton resident and a North Royalton student addressed the Board regarding the Ohio School Choice voucher system. The Board approved the all-day kindergarten fees for the 2025-26 school year at $2,750.00 per year, up from $2,500.00 last year. The Board amended the adopted classified substitute and summer/temporary help salary schedule to reflect increases in the number of positions. Basketball season ends, but What a Ride!
North Royalton Boys Basketball Fans, it was quite a ride! Although it didn’t end the way everyone wanted, the Bears were two victories short of the Division II Boys State Championship. What a season it was! North Royalton had a record of 25-2 this season. They had a 24-game winning streak; a Suburban League National Conference Championship; and a District and Regional Championship. New scams may cause you angst
Unfortunately, criminals continue to create new types of scams that they inflict upon the public. There are two scams that have become popular of late. One involves the fraudulent claim of unpaid turnpike fines via text messages. The other scam involves email and phone fraud. 7th Grader expands thriving quail business, inspires local youth
What started as a small 4-H project has grown into a full-fledged business for North Royalton Middle School seventh-grader Ava Burrows. In just six months, Ava has transformed her passion for quail into The Cluckity Homestead LLC, an officially licensed and NPIP-certified quail operation. Ava, a third-year 4-H member and part of the Olmsted Hayburners club, began her journey last August with 12 quail purchased from other 4-H members. Now, she manages a thriving flock of nearly 50 birds, incubating and selling eggs as well as live birds. She has worked tirelessly to build her business by netwo ....
