Civic groups hope results of survey will spur more interest

Results from a recent community survey regarding the various civic groups and organizations are in. Residents were asked to participate in the civic engagement survey in order to gain an understanding revolved around the city’s civic groups. The online survey is the brainchild of North Royalton City Council President Larry Antoskiewicz and Ward 3 City Councilman Dan Langshaw. North Royalton Homesteaders 4-H Club Members take Four Grand Champion Winners to the Sale Bidding was fast and furious at the Cuyahoga County Junior Fair 4-H Livestock Auction on Saturday, August 11, at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. Bicentennial Community Festival was a dynamite good time for all

Whether it is the funnel cakes, the carnival games, the children’s rides, the parade, fireworks or simply the time with family, attending the Community Festival, organized and sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, is always a cherished way for residents to close out another wonderful summer in North Royalton. North Royalton Community Festival August 10-12

Join us at the City Green (corner of Royalton and Ridge Roads) August 10-12, for the North Royalton Bicentennial Community Festival.  Three days of great food, live entertainment, rides, games, exhibitors and more.  Parade is Sunday at 3 p.m.  Fireworks display Sunday at dusk.  Come with your family and friends and have a great weekend together!  Our photographer will be out and about taking pictures for the Recorder and also our Facebook page!  Smile!!

Fishing Derby had a whale of a turnout

  The 15th Annual George Modock, Jr. Memorial Fishing Derby had a record turnout on Friday, July 27. Children ages 7 - 15 were invited to participate in this annual fun event at Memorial Park, 14600 State Road, at the lower pavilion. Prizes, donated by Mrs. George Modock, Jr., were awarded in three age categories: $25 for 1st place in the 7-9 age group; $50 for 1st place in the 10-12 age group; and $75 for 1st place in the 13-15 age group.
