School is now in session, and so is the daily commute of students around the City on school buses. North Royalton Police Chief Keith Tarase reminds motorists to keep this in mind and act accordingly regarding the laws about stopping around school buses. According to the laws of the State of Ohio, when approaching a school bus that is in the process of dropping off children: - Drivers approaching a school bus in any direction must stop at least ten feet from the front or rear of the school bus. Council, Planning look at City Ordinance changes
In 2021, North Royalton voters approved the adoption of a new Master Land Use Plan and Rezoning Map for the City. Changing the City’s codified ordinances to accommodate those changes have been taking place, and six ordinances were introduced to that end. Originally, the City contracted a developer for the Town Center District Project. There were problems, however, with the assembly of land necessary to make the project work. Kent Corp breaks ground for major expansion
Members of the North Royalton Chamber of Commerce and City Officials joined CEO of Kent Corporation, Dean Costello, as they broke ground on the company’s upcoming expansion. The addition will add 22,000 square feet to the existing facility. Kent Corporation designs and manufactures steel processing equipment.
