The new Metroparks area on the corner of York Rd. and the Valley Parkway had been under construction since early summer. I went with my owner on summer evenings just to see how things were going. I enjoy walks in the park; so many good and different things to smell. I’m Harvard, I’m a dog, and I am happy to report that Aukerman Park is a beautiful place that is dog friendly and dog approved, people are happy about it too. An Army Salute to One of North Royalton’s Own
Lieutenant Colonel Edward Sedlock Jr., a 1993 graduate of North Royalton High School, has been appointed as the commander of the 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division based in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The command change ceremony took place on the first of September. Maggie Flanagan has a very important role with all the athletic teams that wear the North Royalton High School uniform. You probably don’t recognize her name. She’s not a coach. But, her role is far more importan. Maggie is the athletic trainer for North Royalton High School. Cost of dying goes up
The North Royalton City Council is looking to increase the fees for the North Royalton Cemetery, after discussion took place at the Council’s Finance Committee meeting. Larry Antoskiewicz, Council President and Chairman of the Finance Committee, said that discussion to raise the rates took place in an effort to ensure that the cemetery would continue to be maintained in a respectable manner without having to be subsidized by the city’s general fund.
