City Hall ready for move to new home

The long-awaited move from the old to the new City Hall is finally taking place this week. City employees have been busy packing up their offices for the big event. The new City Hall is located at the old library at Memorial Park. The old City Hall will be open through November 6. The North Royalton Board of Education held their October meeting on Monday, October 13. A presentation was given by North Royalton High School Principal, Mic Becerra, regarding the National Merit Scholarship recipients. Katelyn Einloth has been named National Merit Semifinalist for 2015. She now has an opportunity to continue competing for over 8,000 Scholarships worth more than $32 million. Klaire Roggeman and Lisa Twarog have been named Commended Students in the 2015 Program. A Letter of Commendation was presented to the two seniors.

MAYOR AND COUNCIL WANT STATE TO HANDLE DEER POPULATION

City Council unanimously adopted a resolution, introduced by Mayor Bob Stefanik and all of City Council, that requests the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) to control deer populations in Cuyahoga County. The resolution comes on the heels of discussion that took place between local area Mayors and Managers.
