City and School District join to create new Senior Center

Roads targeted for maintenance this year

Now that the spring weather is here, the city has initiated the 2022 Road Maintenance Program, which takes place each year. The city develops a plan of the roads that are in the most need and sets a budget to start those projects. In March, City Council adopted three pieces of legislation that approved bids for the 2022 Road Maintenance Program. Council eyes strict laws for failing to stop for school bus

The North Royalton City Council is discussing a stricter penalty for those who fail to stop for a school bus in the process of dropping children. At the March 15 Council Safety Committee Meeting, North Royalton Police Chief Keith Tarase reported that Police have issued 15 school bus citations so far this year. Last year, even though school was not open for a portion of the school year, it was reported that 22 citations were issued, according to North Royalton Law Director Tom Kelly.
