The North Royalton Board of Education held their November meeting on Thursday, November 13.
The Board approved the following 2025-26 appropriation adjustments: fund 002-Bond Retirement, from $5,490,353.00 to $77,746,956.05.
School Superintendent, Mike Laub shared a number of service projects that were taking place at the various schools. He then noted that there was a bus accident that recently took place. He thanked and gave credit to the bus driver. “He was put in a really difficult situation with the car that cut out in front of him and if he doesn’t veer that bus, that accident is a lot worse than it already was.” He also thanked the Transportation Department for their timely response.

The Board recognized and approved participation in the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches Ohio State Indoor Track and Field Championship and authorizes and approves the following to act as volunteer coaches for this league: William Cummins, Sean Drvenkar, Joseph Francescangeli, David Marhefka, Michael Nary and Douglas Steiger.

The Board approved an agreement with ODS Transportation to transport students for the 2025-26 school year.
The Board authorized an extension for the closing of the former Albion School site until December 1, 2025, provided, if an additional $10,000.00 is made.
The Board approved the following trip proposal:

North Royalton Middle School Winter Sports Club Family Trip
The Board accepted and acknowledged the following gifts/donations:
-The North Royalton Stadium Foundation donated $9,900 to the high school band program for the purchase/replacement of field commander podiums.
The next regularly scheduled meeting will take place on Wednesday, December 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the North Royalton High School Community Room.
