For the fourth consecutive year, St. Albert the Great School has been selected for the 2016 Best of Cleveland Award in the Private and Parochial Schools category by the Cleveland Award Program.
The Cleveland Award Program is an annual awards program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Cleveland area. Recognition is given to those companies that have shown the ability to use their best practices and implemented programs to generate competitive advantages and long-term value.
The Cleveland Award Program identifies companies that are believed to have achieved exceptional success in their local community category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Cleveland area a great place to live, work and play.
Edward Vittardi, principal of Saint Albert the Great School, said, “we feel honored and blessed to be recognized for the Best of Cleveland Award again! We know Saint Albert the Great School is a special place because of the special people…great kids, wonderful parents and an exceptional staff!”
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2016 Cleveland Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Cleveland Award Program and data provided by third parties.
“The recognition is appreciated but it is the day to day success for and with our school families that we are most proud of. The growth of our students academically, socially, emotionally and most of all spiritually remains our daily goal,” said Vittardi.
In 2001 and 2003 St. Albert the Great was named a Blue Ribbon School.
“As a pastor in the Catholic Church, I am well aware that the most important ‘resource’ that we have is the faith and love of our good people. The award ‘Best of Cleveland’ is an expression and affirmation of the beautiful and generous people that make up the ministry of Saint Albert the Great School. Our administration and our faculty, our parents and especially our children are second to none. God has truly blessed us,” said Pastor Edward Estok.
