Fire Department fire simulator teaches children fire safety

Sometimes all it takes to make something happen is to be in the right place at the right time. Schools earn overall grade of "B" on State Report Card

The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) recently released the 2018-19 Local Report Card for all districts in the state of Ohio. The North Royalton Schools received an overall B grade on the annual state report card. The State Report Card is one way to measure our educational system,” said Superintendent Greg Gurka. Traffic congestion today equals smooth roads ahead

The area around State and Royalton Roads has been a traffic mess, especially over the past few weeks. It started earlier this summer, when the Royalton Road Water Main Replacement Project began. Recent developments of two other projects in the area have upped the traffic ante and have made things more congested. However, there is good news on the horizon. Julie Bogden, Director of Pupil Services, and Melissa Vojta, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, gave a presentation of the school district’s report card. On October 7, North Royalton High School (NRHS) inducted the newest members into their National Honor Society (NHS). The ceremony was held in the Performing Arts Center and included a welcome from Emmanuel (Gus) Scaria, current NHS president as well as the singing of the alma mater by North Royalton High School choir members.
