School levy set for November ballot

Citywide Sidewalk Sale kicks off bicentennial celebration

The Royalton Recorder is kicking off the bicentennial celebration by sponsoring a two-day Business Sidewalk Sale event on July 28 and 29. Local businesses throughout the community will be open for visiting customers. City to add more roads on repair list

Due to an increase in tax receipts this year, the city will increase its road budget and spend more than $2 million on the 2018 Road Repair Program. At its June 19 meeting, the North Royalton City Council authorized the Mayor to go out to bid on June 20. Bid openings were to take place on July 5. Earlier this year, the city elected to repave Edgerton Road at a cost of about $650,000, from Bennett Road to Ridge Road and South Akins Road, between Bennett Road and York Road, at a cost of about $240,000.
