NR High School students inducted into National Honor Society
On October 25, North Royalton High School (NRHS) inducted the newest members into their National Honor Society (NHS). The ceremony was held in the Performing Arts Center and included a welcome from Gabrielle Brihn, current NHS president, along with Julia Lam, NHS vice president. Officers Lizzy Shiplett, Emma Kolick, Hana Saad, and Amanda Ruffner spoke to the students about the pillars of leadership, service, scholarship and character. NRHS Hosts Career, College and Military Exploration Day
On October 26, North Royalton High School hosted a Career, College and Military Exploration Day. The day included opportunities for 9th and 10th-grade students to learn more specifics about potential careers, explore career interests and individual strengths as well as an option to explore military and/or college options. Alex Sheen, motivational speaker and Founder of Because I Said I Would, was the guest speaker for the day. St. Albert the Great hosts military salute to veterans
On Friday, November 12, St. Albert the Great School presented their annual ‘Military Salute to Veterans.’ This annual tradition begins with the sixth-grade students interviewing someone currently or formerly in the military, and then writing an essay about their service, which is then presented to the class. A Veteran Video Salute was also created because most Veterans could not join in the day physically, due to Covid-19 restrictions.
