You’ve probably noticed the brilliant colors of the trees lately. Driving along the roads on a bright sunny day, the red, orange and yellow leaves on the trees against the clear blue hue of the sky creates a beautiful picture. This is the time of year when the weather is warmer during the day but turns to a crisp chill at night, our gardens are winding down and North Royalton is preparing to celebrate the Harvest.
The Harvest Festival that was originally scheduled for Sunday, September 18, will now be included as part of the Halloween Madness event that will be held this Saturday, from 2 to 6 p.m. on the City Green and is now combined with Halloween Madness.
The Harvest Fest had been sponsored by the Holiday Lighting Committee as a fund-raiser to help pay for the Christmas holiday lights and decorations on the City Green.
The Halloween Madness is a fun afternoon for the entire family, with a bounce house, magician, music, a pumpkin-decorating contest and craft vendors. Kids are invited to come in costume for a costume contest. Fall and Halloween decorations will abound, even an old-fashioned hearse for that spooktacular effect! In addition, the maze from the Harvest Festival and petting zoo will also be featured.
All are invited to attend this fun fall event for the family.
