North Royalton Police are looking for help in identifying three men in connection to a robbery.
On Thursday, March 15, the Rite Aid store at 13955 State Road, at the corner of Royalton Road, was robbed. The incident took place at about 6:25 p.m.
It appears that one man came into the store and looked around and then left. Three men then came into the store, one man in the front of the store and two moving toward the back, targeting the pharmacy. They then reportedly jumped over the pharmacy counter and told employees to cooperate and they won’t get hurt, according to North Royalton Police Detective David Loeding. They were seen fleeing in a Gray/Silver Toyota Scion, traveling westbound on Royalton Road (Rt. 82). They reportedly had a car parked at the Sports Rehabilitation Consultants parking lot at 5340 Royalton Road.
The three men were black and in their late teens/early 20’s. One was wearing a navy blue/black hoodie; one had dark clothing, wearing a vest and the third had on a gray sweatshirt. They reportedly smelled like marijuana.
Loeding said that a significant amount of controlled scheduled dangerous drugs were taken. The police report noted that liquid cough syrups, Percocet and oxy medicines were taken.
Loeding said that no weapons were seen, nor was there a weapon mentioned. No physical injuries were reported.
“We are seeking help in identifying subjects involved in the robbery,” said Loeding. Anyone with information is asked to please contact the North Royalton Police Department Detective Bureau at (440) 582-6216.
