Meetings set for new city recycling program

Residents are invited to attend meetings to learn about the upcoming newly enhanced curbside recycling program. The meetings will take place on Monday, April 17, at City Hall, Community Room number one, at 7 p.m. There will be a Shred Day on April 22 from 9 a.m. to noon, at Memorial Park. A meeting will take place directly after the event at the City Hall Community Room number one, at about 12:30 p.m. The program is scheduled to start on May 1. St. Albert the Great School goes high tech - unveils brand new zSpace STEM Lab

On March 17, St. Albert the Great Catholic School, in partnership with University Hospitals Parma Medical Center, unveiled its brand new, state-of-the-art educational technology in its new zSpace STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Lab. NRCS District’s Enriched Language Arts Students RISE to the Challenge with Research Projects

On March 22, the North Royalton City Schools’ Research and Independence Study Extravaganza (RISE) was held at North Royalton Middle School. Enriched English Language Arts students in grades three through eight conducted formal research on a topic of their choice and then combined their findings into the form of an Independent Study Project that was showcased to the public during the event. City is pleased with bond rating improvement

North Royalton officials recently received word from Moody’s Investor Services that their bond rating has been maintained at the Aa2 rating of 2014. The overall summary of the February 13, 2017 report states that “North Royalton has a very high quality credit position, and its Aa2 rating is slightly above the median rating of Aa3 for cities nationwide. North Royalton section of Metroparks Trail set to begin this month

About thirty-five people attended a recent public meeting at City Hall on March 9, presented by the Cleveland Metroparks, regarding the completion of the Metroparks Trail Project. The project will finally ramp up this year, with the section that runs through North Royalton. The project consists of Phase I, which was approved for funding through the Clean Ohio Trails Fund, runs from Brecksville Road to Broadview Road.
