North Royalton City Schools shares program for free and reduced price meals

North Royalton City Schools today announced its 2019-2020 program year policy for free and reduced-price meals for students unable to pay the full price of meals served under the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program. Each school office, cafeteria and Pupil Services have a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party. The Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines will be used for determining eligibility. Generous community comes together for a great cause

As the inaugural community school supply drive, “Supplying Success,” drew to a close last month, lead volunteer Stacey Kelley couldn’t quite quantify the number of generous businesses who stepped up to donate. “We were able to make some shout-outs during the drive and we will continue to (Facebook) post our thank-yous to all of the businesses that supported us. Students make memories beneath the Friday night lights

High school is a time to make memories and for the nearly 300 students enrolled in the North Royalton High School band program, lifelong memories are being made just about every minute. The excitement, enthusiasm and toe-tapping tunes were in the air on an early August day as students gathered for their sixth day of summer band camp. Community Garden is growing in popularity – takes home a blue ribbon from Cuyahoga County Fair

The North Royalton Community Garden is not only brimming with the summer’s bounty of fresh vegetables, but also with future plans and to top it off, another blue ribbon! The August meeting of the North Royalton Board of Education took place on Monday, August 12. The Board appointed Superintendent Gregory J. Gurka, or his designee, as the Board’s Hearing Officer for all suspension hearings and expulsions. The Board approved account 200-978B High School Class of 2023 and approved the transfer of $6,588.10 from the High School Class of 2019 Council account to the High School Student account. Furry friends and their owners revel in annual Pet Carnival festivities
