One great way to enjoy the summer is to see a movie under the stars! The city will be hosting a Movie in the Park, at Memorial Park, on Friday, June 28. The name of the movie is a mystery! Here’s a hint: it’s a family oriented movie about a cute, little dog that travels hundreds of miles throughout a Colorado wilderness in an effort to search for her owner. Did you get the clue? Dr. Susan Clark resigns seat on Board of Education, causing vacancy

North Royalton City Schools Board Member, Dr. Susan G. Clark, will be resigning her seat on the Board of Education effective June 26, 2019. Dr. Clark is the University of Akron’s recipient of a Fulbright Core Teaching Scholarship and will be moving to Norway, affiliated with Østfold University College in Oslo. Clark said she will be teaching high school teachers and students in schools throughout the country about American Education Law, the constitution and school culture. City purchases county-owned property

The City of North Royalton recently received word that their bid to purchase property owned by Cuyahoga County was accepted. The York Road property belongs to the Cuyahoga County Engineer’s Office. The property is zoned (PF) Public Facility. The road and bridge maintenance facility property, located at 4875 York Road, is one of four properties, including two garages in Cleveland and an engineering building in Valley View, that the county is selling. ‘How can I help?’ Local mom working to fill need in the community
