Some one hundred people were guests of Mayor Bob Stefanik for his semi-annual business breakfast. The meeting took place at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, at Carrie Cerino’s Ristorante. NRHS band gives ‘magical’ performance

The North Royalton High School Band is no stranger to performing for large crowds, but their performance at Disney’s Magic Kingdom on April 4 took that amount to even greater heights as thousands upon thousands of spectators visiting the park from around the world watched them march down the coveted Main Street, U.S.A. during the park’s “Evening March” parade. City Green Pavilion project on hold

Unfortunately, the upgrading of the City Green has run into a snag with the erection plans of a new pavilion and will not be completed in time for the city’s bicentennial celebration. Although the overall project will continue, the pavilion portion of the project, which includes the construction of the pavilion, its furnishings and landscaping, has been stalled. The city went out to bid on the pavilion recently and, although several companies picked up bid packages, only one company submitted a bid. Grants will fund new gear for NRFD

Some good news in the form of grant funding for the North Royalton Fire Department has been realized recently by the city. Two grants will help compensate for purchases made for the department. A grant from the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) has been awarded. School facilities design updated with residents’ feedback

Residents gathered at the High School Performing Arts Center on Monday, March 26, to view the initial design of the school facilities projects. These designs, although not final, are a compilation of the feedback received from residents and staff at the January 3 meeting, where interactive exercises were given by project architects ThenDesign Architecture (TDA) .
