Lots of Caring and Sharing at Royal Redeemer

For the 35th consecutive year, Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church here in North Royalton provided food, caring, and fellowship to many in our community who did not have anywhere to turn on Thanksgiving Day. The numbers are surprising. Over the past years, Royal Redeemer has served between 1,200 and 1,400 meals on Thanksgiving Day. Care and Share Coordinator Lynda Rudolph said she was prepared to serve 350 or more in the Royal Redeemer Dining Room. Plus, there were more tables available in the outer lobby of the dining room. The North Royalton and Broadview Heights communities came together for the 12th annual Taste of North Royalton event on Thursday, November 7, at the St. Paul Hellenic Center. North Royalton residents were in for a treat as the City, Schools and partner organizations hosted the annual Health Fair & Family Expo on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Families usher in the Christmas Season at Lighting of the City Green

The weather held out with no rain or snow, but the 26-degree temperature really could be felt. That did not stop residents from bundling up and coming to the City Green on Sunday, December 1, to take part in the 23rd Annual Lighting of the Green. City moves Safety Town to new location

Both the North Royalton Board of Education and the North Royalton City Council recently passed legislation that would approve of the construction of Safety Town at the location of the North Royalton Elementary School at 16400 State Road. The proposed site was previously at the old Royal View Elementary School. According to North Royalton Finance Director, Jenny Esaray, the City has received about $30,844 in donations as of this writing. New Senior Center project moves forward

After several rounds of bidding, the City is now moving forward on the Senior Center project. The proposed Senior Center will be located at the old Royal View School property on Ridge Road, utilizing a portion of the building. North Royalton City Council unanimously adopted an ordinance at its October 1 meeting that accepted the bid of Millstone Management Group, Incorporated for the construction of the project. Mayor, Council establish Charter Review Board
