The April meeting of the North Royalton Board of Education took place virtually on Monday, April 13. North Royalton family shares story of their battle with COVID-19
‘After all this is said and done, we are going to be a stronger family’ It’s been more than a month since Eli Clancy was born and the newborn baby has yet to meet extended family, be held for group photos or simply be cared for normally by his parents. Eli, born March 23 to North Royalton couple Dawn and Sean Clancy, tested positive for COVID-19 just 12 days after his birth. His father Sean tested positive as well. Council Increases Fine for Failing to Stop for School Bus
The North Royalton City Council unanimously adopted legislation that increases the fine for those who fail to stop for a school bus that is in the process of dropping off children. The fine has been doubled, from $500 to $1,000. The legislation amends the current ordinance Part 4 Traffic Code, Title Six, Chapter 432 Operation Generally, Section 432.30 Stopping for School Bus; Actuating Visual Signals; Discharging Children, Paragraph (f)(1).
