New position leads to added programs

The creation of a new position in the North Royalton Police Department (NRPD) has led to the creation of new programs that are designed to bring the NRPD and the community closer together. North Royalton hosts End of Vietnam War ceremony

On Sunday, April 15, the City of North Royalton hosted a ceremony at Memorial Park that marked the 48th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. Each year, a different community hosts the event with the Vietnam Veterans Of America, West Shore Chapter 249 and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 15. Council approves expansion of Stormwater Grant Program

The North Royalton City Council has again voted to expand a current grant program that allows home owners associations to apply for grants in order to help subsidize stormwater-related projects that are deemed to be a nuisance. Last month, Council voted to increase the scope of the program, increasing the maximum amount a resident could apply for reimbursement.
