Support Our Local Restaurants during Coronavirus Crisis

These are very challenging times here in North Royalton and all around the world. Our routines have been disrupted and we feel we are at a standstill. In time, the Coronavirus will be gone and we all will be back to our normal activities. Until that day comes, however, we must all do what we can to stay healthy and help each other. While residents are following Governor Mike DeWine’s Stay-at-Home rule, the restaurant industry is being hit very hard since they are closed for in-house dining. North Royalton resident pleads guilty in police attack

A 58-year-old North Royalton man was indicted after he allegedly attacked a North Royalton Police officer. He was arrested on August 18. John Pugnea pleaded guilty to Felonious Assault on a Peace Officer and three counts of Aggravated Menacing. According to North Royalton Police Reports, a resident reported that he was threatened by another motorist after a driving altercation. The driver called police during the altercation, reporting the license plate number. According to the report, Officer Alexandra Bell spotted the vehicle and followed him back to his house to investigate the threat. ....

North Royalton Browns Backers earn “Club of Year” nod

“I just told them our story.” Out of hundreds of stories from around the globe, the story of the North Royalton Browns Backers, told by Founder Tim Rudnick, prompted the Browns Backers Presidents’ Leadership Council to name them the 2019 Browns Backers Club of the Year. Girl Scouts celebrate World Thinking Day

In the Girl Scout World, February 22 represents World Thinking Day, also known as World Friendship Day. It’s a day that Girl Scouts take the time to get to know and honor other cultures and countries. Last Saturday, the North Royalton Girl Scouts did exactly that with 16 troops and approximately 265 girls. The North Royalton Middle School was filled with food, music, dancing and plenty of worldly education on a wide variety of countries. Residents pedaling toward forming local chapter of Bike Cleveland

The wheels are turning for a group of residents interested in forming a local chapter of Bike Cleveland, an advocacy group promoting bicycling and safe transportation. Resident and cyclist Chris Brasdovich led a meeting last week at the North Royalton Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library to introduce his focus, exchange ideas with those gathered and discuss what it takes to sign on with Bike Cleveland.
